Vision
Pendulee exists to bring stories to life through art and design. We believe every space holds a story, and our work transforms those stories into experiences that move people.
Pendulee brings a decade of expertise in exhibit design and public art to spatial storytelling. Our design studio has built a reputation for crafting immersive exhibitions, large-scale murals, and creative brand experiences for cultural institutions, museums, and municipalities.
Headquartered in the Detroit and Ann Arbor creative corridors, Pendulee specializes in custom museum exhibition design, community public art installations, and custom, low-tech interactive design for clients across Southeast Michigan and nationwide. From place-based wayfinding signage to high-profile traveling exhibits and permanent museum collections across the country, we engineer durable, tactile experiences that connect people to physical spaces.
Our team collaborates with museums, art centers, and local organizations to bring complex narratives to life through environmental graphic design and spatial identity. We partner with forward-thinking, art-first municipalities and civic institutions to design public work that is both visually striking and deeply meaningful.
A Decade of Designing Exhibits & Public Art
Pendulee is movement and balance—evoking the precise, steady swing of a pendulum that carries every project forward with momentum and creativity. While the name itself is an invented, entirely unique moniker, by our definition, it represents the physical spaces, storytelling, and immersive environments we are about to create together.
